Prairie Hawk Apache Dun is a young ABC double dilute stallion - both zebra dun and buckskin - that we imported from Canada. He comes from outstanding bloodlines - Cypress, Canadian, Warrior, and early Damele. He has incredible sporthorse movement - like his sire, Hawk's Midnight Shadow, and his half brother "Heartbreaker" of Creekside Curlies. Apache has beautiful curl, long, long eyelashes, plenty of bone, and very hard hooves. One thing I like about him is the amount of fetlock curl and leg feathering that he keeps - even during the summer. His lovely dunskin color is very rare indeed, and he has the primitive markings found on dun horses - dorsal stripe, leg and shoulder barring, and dark ear rims. Apache should mature to 15.1 - 15.3hh, and we are excited to see what this colt will produce when crossed with our ABC mares. Apache is ABC second generation solid Curly to Curly breeding!!!
