How lucky we were to find this quality young mare tucked away in Kansas! Warrior Berndtie is the next to last foal from Miss Berndt Warrior (dam of the famous Bad Warrior ABC P-1330(F) and mother to that whole line of Curlies). Berndtie stands around 14h high and is a very classy mare. She has nice solid bone, hard round hooves, incredibly straight build, the beautiful head so often found in this line of curlies, primitive chestnut coloring, and a quiet, gentle disposition. We have one filly from her to date, and are looking forward to many more great foals from this exceptional, quality mare. Update: I know, I know, I have never really done an official photo shoot of Berndtie, and when I decided to list her for sale, I knew there wasn't much chance of someone noticing her great qualities without some proper photos. However, I was in no hurry to actually sell her - as she has been one of my best and favorite mares. Some one did notice her though, and her outstanding qualities, and as of August 25, 2008, Berndtie has a new owner in Sweden, and will make her home there. I did do a few photos of my lovely Berndtie before she left for the quarantine facility.....it rained right before we loaded, so she is wet in some of the photos - but it doesn't keep her beauty from shining through.....I hope you enjoy them.
