Red Curly Sue is a 15hh red dun mare with primitive markings...dorsal stripe, leg and shoulder barring, and dark ear rims. She is a very beautiful mare, with a muscular hip, good bone, and nice conformation. She has a quiet, easy going temperament which she passes on to her foals. Her granddam was Warrior’s Berndt Sue ABC P-1351(F) - Ernie Hammrich’s favorite mare, a red dun as well. This mare also has some Damele breeding in her pedigree. Her outstanding 2005 colt - Custer Dun (also a red dun) has been sold!....but we are anxiously awaiting her 2006 foal, and simply can't wait to see this beautiful baby! **UPDATE** : Red Curly Sue had an outstanding red dun filly - Warrior Sedonia Dun on May 16th!!! We are so pleased with this beautiful and sweet little lady! Red Curly Sue is now offered for sale along with her lifetime pasture friend - Warrior's Queen. Just $1500. for these two outstanding and top producing mares! Red Curly Sue has a twisted back fetlock from an old injury (before we got her) but she gets around on it amazingly well, and even runs! It certainly does not affect her ability to produce top quality foals, and she should have many years left in her in this respect.
